Oh, Maggie. Thank you for taking the time to update us all. My heart is broken for your broken heart, and your sweet, sweet little girl. What a tremendously frightening ordeal for all of you. I am praying for her healing, her beautiful spirit to remain positively delightful, her painful suffering to quickly pass, and for your peace of heart in the matter.

When my own dd was severely scratched by a neighbor's dog, I was convinced that she would have a terrible scar. She is also very fair--- red hair, blue eyes, pale pale complexion.I was also less than thrilled with how they handled it at the Children's ER. I was prepared to need to have the scar revised by a dermatologist. But it healed beautifully, helped along by lots of sunscreen all the time and Mederma ointment when it had healed.
Don't despair--there are many prayers coming your way!

Maggie, just jumping in here to say that I have been praying for your dear daughter...we are suffering the same issues here! My 10 year old dd burned her entire forearm (second degree) with boiling hot tea last Tues. Thanks be to God (and Silavadene and non stick bandages and rolls of gauze) it is really starting to improve. The doctor said it would improve significantly in 7-10 days, and it has. It'll be better soon for you too dear! Let's continue to keep each other in prayer!

Just seeing this for the first time, Maggie. (Been away for awhile) Praying that your daughteris recovering nicely now? Accidents do happen in a heartbeat. I am sure it will heal better than you think and fade with time. I would pursue a dermatoligists advice though. They may be able to give you certain creams for such sensitive skin.
