WOW.....I love our new emoticons!!!!! Can’t wait to post the happy dance one in a few days....I’ll update tomorrow, hopefully, if I can get a connection at her bedside in ICU. Bronch is very early in the morning.....

Lily is in post op while we wait for an ICU bed. She is trach free!!!!     Say a little prayer that she will calm down...a little freaked out by how breathing is all different, thank goodness for DVDs at the bedside!  If all goes well tonight, she will stay one more day on the regular floor, and then off to home. I'll update later
Ps--she is going to ICU per new decannulation policy for monitoring etc... She is totally stable, pink, and not liking her mandatory IV in her hand--but calming down now.

Was so happy to see this earlier. Prayers of thanksgiving and continued prayers for everything to continue going very well - and that it doesn't take Lily long to get used to her new way of breathing, she sure comes across as a real trooper and an active little girl who catches on quickly - so praying that all those wonderful traits carry over for this new challenge. I'm sure Our Lady most be watching over her especially on her feast day.
