Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Just another vote for the Moby. I used it with our twins (who were 5.5 lbs each). Spent the first couple months with them both in it all snuggly.    I continued to use it for a long time because I loved how forgiving the fabric was, making it easy to nurse in.

My husband, on the other hand, basically stole the Moby from me. He LOVED that thing, and hauled the babies (one at a time) in it until they were over 20 lbs. ha ha! I think he must be eying it up for when our new little one arrives.

After they got that big, I bought a used non-strechy wrap, that was also wonderful. The Moby made me fall in love with wraps. Especially in a back carry - although putting on a baby in public on my back always seemed to attract worried faces, as it looks crazy to the untrained eye.

Ahhh, I love thinking about snuggling babies.....

I wouldn't be without a wrap, especially for the first 6 months. My dd 18mnths still loves being wrapped and makes her 'happy' sound if she's tired and I put her in it. Not something I do too often now, but this is the sort of carrier I grab if she needs some extra cosy snuggling time.

I have a sleepywrap which is great, but I'm going to see if I can wring a moby d out of dh for the next one
