Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Thank you, ladies (and Mark ). Aiden's chest and sinus xrays came back clear - yea! He now has an inhaler to take 15 minutes before athletics as well as another med to try for a few weeks to look more closely at allery/asthma. No specialists needed at this time.

We thank you for you ongoing prayers for this matter .

Love,

Still praying, Angie. My allergy sufferers go on and on for long periods of time too. Not fun. Especially not for active teens.    to Aiden and you.

Love,

Could you all continue to pray. Our family has a cold...but it is hitting 15yods as a cough, again. We're lining up insurance stuff to get him to a specialist...praying for relief as he heads into baseball season.

Thanks so much!

Love,

Praying with empathy. We recently took dd to an allergist (after pleading with family docs to do a real asthma evaluation for almost two years) and guess what...she has full-blown asthma, not exercise-induced.

Hang in there and advocate for your son, as I am sure you will. Trust your instincts. Enlist your dh to help if you get frustrated (Oh, the baseball injury phone call stories I could tell! My dh is calm and collected in the face of injury vs. bureaucracy. Men are great at that sort of thing!).

And a special for your baseball player, who probably just wants to get out there and catch flies, hit pitches and run bases...

Final update, I hope! We received good news today - no air-born allergies!

The allergist gave a "non-allergic rhinitis" diagnosis and thinks that we were dealing with an "atypical infection" that dragged on and on and on. So, we may never know what it was but are relieved to know what it isn't at this time:).

After 5 months of coughing, I'm glad to report - no coughing .

Thank you SO VERY MUCH for your ongoing prayers.

Love,

So glad to hear this Angie!      I'm hearing more and more about couphs hanging on for several months, but it's hard to determine why!    This is great news as he goes on with baseball.

Glad to hear the coughing has ceased! Also that it is not allergy related, otherwise you could be looking at a continual problem on and off.

There has been a shocking coughing virus in Australia at present, coughing is pretty much the main symptom, almost singular..it just keeps going and going...we've been dealing with this since the big floods in January...

Thanks, ladies. I'm sure that your heart-felt prayers are heard because of your sensitivty and experience with allergies. It is a big relief, especially since one of the reasons we moved to AZ was to get away from Dave's allergies in PA .

We are all praying for those who struggle with respiratory problems, allergies, and illnesses with unknown causes .

Love,
