Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

A local friend of ours is Charlie. It fits him fine as an adult and can't imagine him being called Charles.

Lisa - Too funny that she keeps calling him "Jacob"! I'm getting a kick out of that. I have a couple of friends who named their sons "Charlie", although I don't know what they put on the official birth certificate. I think it would definitely work as an adult name.

Erin - I love Ender's Game. What a great nickname! I always wondered what it would be like to go by something completely different than my original name.
