Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I love So Many Bunnies. It was one of the first picture books I bought for my ds.

I'll go with the K...

We've been pretty heavy on the "K" and "Y" - both harder titles to find.

I'm going to shake it up a bit...

The Keeping Quilt - Patricia Polacco

to end with a "T"

Oh good! I've been waiting for a "T"

Tikki Tikki Tembo by Arlene Mosel

One of absolute favorites.

That gives an "O" -- trying to shake things up a bit!

So Many Bunnies: A Bedtime ABC and Counting Book by Rick Walton

I have a question about the subtitled books. Do we go with S with Bunnies or K for Book?

I would say either. I almost just wrote So Many Bunnies, but the subtitle is included on the front of the book, so I included it. Sorry for the confusion.

I didn't see this earlier. I would say either as well. Most likely the one with the subtitle, since it is included. But it would be fine to go with the end of the main title if it gave an advantage for an easier letter to name a book. For example if you couldn't think of another "K". But it would be appropriate to pick based on getting a new letter that hasn't used much either - if the first ending letter gave us an "C" or "J" or something like that.

For the "O" I'll go with Owl Moon - Jane Yolen. Been waiting to get an owl one in...    Now for "N"

Norman the Doorman by Don Freeman

Growing up, I liked this book even more than Corduroy. Most of my children do, too.

Now for another "N".

Night's Nice by Barbara Emberley and Ed Emberley

This was our family's well-loved picture book. We didn't have "Goodnight Moon"; this book brings that comfort-feeling that Margaret Wise Brown's book does. The illustrations aren't as nice...I admit it, but it was a favorite for us. I love the cat walking in the night illustration. That's my favorite.

I had to track down a copy when my son was younger -- they were so expensive! I'm so happy it's reprinted for a reasonable rate.

And now my little family loves it, too.

Easter Eggs for Anya by Virginia Kroll

Love the book and the squirrel naming!

A ROSE, A BRIDGE, AND A WILD BLACK HORSE by Charlotte Zolotow

I feel pretty neutral about squirrels myself...but I would lean more toward liking them
