Ladies,
I'm so grateful for your prayers! I just spoke with Chris and my Mom. Chris has been discharged from the hospital and by now is relaxing at home on the farm! I can just hear his sigh of relief from here...with his chickens clucking through the open windows and the big Maple tree shading the house rather than hospital machinery beeping in his ear and insane air conditioning!!!
The good news is that all his CT scans, ultrasounds, MRIs, and immediate bloodwork revealed nothing out of the ordinary. Some blood cultures will take longer for results. For now, the fever is unexplained. It could just be a virus, but I'm sure my Mom will be watching it very closely.
Thank you all for praying Chris and my family through the night and morning! My is overflowing with gratitude!

Now that just makes my night!!!! I just love my dear brother with all my heart, and how touching to think that you all feel a kinship with him through your faithful prayers for him. It makes perfect sense to me, but I never thought of it until you said something...and it just made my so, so happy!
and  of joy...and happiness...and utter gratitude in the generosity and tenderness of all your prayers!
Chris is doing well at home tonight! He enjoyed chicken noodle soup, an apple, my mom doting on his every need, and a nice long nap in the sunroom in the late afternoon!

So glad to hear he's on the mend. I kept thinking about asking for an update and when I saw your prayer request, it made me wonder if it was something with your brother so I continued to pray all that night for you and him (and Jodie since that was the night she was in labor). Since I'm up every 1-2 hours at night for a potty break at 38 weeks it was easy to do.
