Ok...I had little contractions all night. They were enough to wake me up and keep me from sleeping but not productive in that they were about 30 sec long and not super regular. I crashed this morning after praying to St. Anne and Padre Pio...and well, all of heaven and purgatory...LOL to "please let me sleep and you can let me go into labor when I wake" and guess what? God did just that! I took a 4 hr nap after I reminded St. Anne that I NEEDED to not be sleep-deprived for labor and I had been praying for that at Daily Mass for weeks...I could get used to this...getting my prayers answered this way....
I had a few little contractions but it has stopped...then the phone rang....because I was trying to move my Non stress test to thurs that midwife/dr freaked out and called my midwife angry because of "what I did" ...huh? They told me in dr-speak that I needed an appt at 41 weeks which would be WEDNESDAY when I was there last week. Now things are suddenly different. So my midwife said, that I have to get there TONIGHT for this and they think I just might NEED to be in labor tonight or very soon...suddenly it is an emergency where last week it was very casual and "the baby is fine.you should have this baby in the next 2 weeks...blah, blah, blah. To explain further, I have a homebirth midwife working with this dr/midwife so I can deliver at the hospital. There have been loads of communication problems resulting in the dr. speak being majorly hard to understand because of this arrangement. They are REALLY hard to understand like they are from a different country..they are good and not afraid of big babies or presentation, but they are still mainstream and I am praying that labor isn't a case of too many cooks in the kitchen. Can you follow that? I know it is complicated!
Please pray for me that they manage me well. Last night I really felt like I was finished and wanted this thing over. They are thinking...big baby need to come out now...arg. I know I have to be friendly and firm so I don't jeopardize my midwife who set all of this up who is very under fire by the mainstream community as it is. I don't' want to make it seem like I am trying to have this baby at home, which I am not (that would jeopardize her license!...suspicious-minded people!). I have just over an hour and a half before I leave for this non stress test and I am going to get in a good walk and a shower. They just may let me come home..that is the plan, but the way everyone has been acting I don't know what is up. I really hate this kind of thing! but I am not foolish, I know where to be firm. I have done this before..I just don't want to be pushed into doing something I don't think is right.
Please pray that no one puts me or the baby in distress and all goes well. I will update when I can. Thank you and lots of {{{{HUGS}}}

Good news Ann Marie was born at 8:59 am she 9 pounds 8 ounces and Mom is doing fine.
She will be home Friday and we will keep you in the loop.

Yes, it is Anne! I know it is St Anne's day...she has been a POWERFUL intercessor for me this whole pregnancy. I love her!
