...awaiting labor here...
sigh!
My longest labor was...umm...6 hours. Unless you count the last time...active labor was 4 hours but I was contracting on and off all day and that really didn't bother me. Only the last 4 hour did as they were intense.

2nd labor was about 57 hours start to finish, with about 10 hours of active labor, and truly active labor FINALLY hit when my water broke about 2 hrs.before ds was born. The funny thing was after so many hoursof "off and on couldn't makesup their mind contractions" ds was born 20 minutes after we arrived at the hospital. The nurse who delivered ds calls herself"Aunt Jenny" to our son when we see her. We were so blessed she is a really nice, decent Christian lady. She even stayed without pay to be able to attend at the birth of the twins!

My first labor was only 14 hours and went like textbook labor,so the next two labors took me by surprise with how different they were.

The twins' labor was about 16 hours, with pitocin about 3 hours before birth to get things moving more.
