The last few weeks I have been concerned about our youngest dd's health and this morning I took her to the doctor to be tested. She has no fever, no grave complaints. She is a very good natured child, which hasn't changed. But, 4 weeks ago I noticed that she needs to drink a lot lot lot and is extremely skinny. She also began wetting nights.
I had read Michele Quigley's post about diabetes on her blog, which I can no longer find, and I got suspicious.
Maybe even worried.
Helena's urin test today was not good. There was sugar in her urin, so we have to go in first thing in the morning to have her blood tested...
I pray that it is not diabetes.
I pray that it is something we can clear up easily.
I pray that we can all handle whatever it is.
I love that girl so much. Lord be with us.
I beg your prayers. Thank you.
Update Aug. 18
We have her blood work results. sugar level is 248 and it shouldn't be above 100.
We will be in the hospital a couple of days.
I will keep you all in our prayers.

I am also praying, Stephanie. It is so hard to have a sick child.
The transition from the old normal to the new "normal" is the worst.
I am praying all these changes will go smoothly for you and your dd will
adjust and be well.

Praying for you and your daughter. I know this is a scary time and will pray for those treating her to get everything under control very soon and find a manageable treatment plan for her that will bring you peace.
