Friends,
I had another three hour surgery last night. All of my unusually horrible pain and poor bladder function was because my right ureter was completely blocked, a complication from Monday's surgery. They put a stint in and I came home late this morning. While I was in recovery last night, dh had to take Lily down to the ER because she had another infection in her pins. Good man, he got hold of her surgeon and everyone took care of her in the ER. She got a "booboo" shot of antibiotics, and will be on antibiotics down her tube for a while.
I am home now, feeling normal post op pain (thank goodness for normal post op pain) 
I think we are going to be okay now. I would not recommend two surgeries and a blocked ureter in one week. My stent will come out at the urologist's office in six weeks.

Hey friend
I was just coming on to update the original post. We just said lots of prayers for all of you.
Lots of virtual chicken soup, laundry and house cleaning coming your way. I am praying for some good help for you.

Merciful heavens!!! I'm so relieved you're home, and that Lily's ok, and that all are on the mend! Very grateful for the update - I've been wondering! Saying an extra prayer for your dh...what a time of it worrying about both of his girls!

Such an action-packed week at your house! Praying that things continue looking up, that you and Lily heal well with no further complications. It's good to know that the terrible pain you were having was because something wasn't right; *normal* post-op pain should decrease, so you'll start feeling better.
