WOW! Ladies, you all are the best! Teachin'Mine2...what a talent with words you have - perhaps there's a cottage industry in this for you!
Please do keep your ideas coming. Our family has a long drive ahead of us next week. I want to bring this topic up for a discussion and vote with them while we're all locked in the van together  . I'll keep you all posted. Thanks again  .

We have a name...........
Sand Castle Solace
Ladies, I read this whole topic to the family. Each idea received ooooooooos and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhs. It really helped us to get into the challenge of finding just the right name. JP was the one who came up with "castle", which seems so sweet that he sees our little cottage as one. "Sand" totally fits - desert - and our love of the beach (where we vacationed.) "Solace" came via a thesaurus rabbit trail for happiness - looking for an "s" alliteration.

You have gotten some very creavtive responses.
Early on we becamce the Blasdell Zoo. We had children and animals. One of best friends gave us a sign for Christmas one year that said Blasdell Zoo and it stuck.
