We lost our unborn baby sometime between 12-16 weeks. I am scheduled for a D&C today and I am really scared about it. And we are all taking it very hard. DH and I have been crying on and off the last 2 days (and I can count on one hand the number of times I have seen him cry in the last 6 years...) and oldest DS (almost 5) cried himself to sleep last night

Update:
Thanks everyone! We had the procedure done today. I met my new dr for the first time. Such a wonderful Catholic man. (I saw the one other Catholic in his practice yesterday) We were so incredibly grateful to be treated with dignity and love. Everything went well, spotting is actually very light, and almost no pain, praise the Lord! My grandparents watched the boys almost the entire day, even helped get them to bed. My in-laws and parents are close if we need anything else. We have been so blessed by the outpouring of support.
We are still so sad, but are learning peace.
We named the baby Raphael.
