Oh, how wonderful to hear this good news about Lily. I know she has a hard road ahead still, but each hour that passes is one to mark off, right?
Someday this WILL be a distant memory. Praying that day comes soon!

Thanks for asking.....I don’t want to “wear out my welcome”, but I would love to tell everyone that she is doing great!! She walked through Michael’s today, just strutting through like she didn’t have six inches of metal sticking out everywhere on her face......she has just “gone on” with her little busy life, and doesn’t let it slow her down.....except when she gets stuck in small places she is trying to climb around with her distractors  oh my....we’ve yelled more than once, “LILY!!!! Stop!!!! Don’t go behind the couch! You’ll get your pins stuck!!” or, “STOP, you might fall, slow down!!” Distraction with a two year old is NOT for the faint of heart!!  Isn’t it lovely that I have to tell her to slow down?? I am truly blown away at her spunk and stamina....it is an answer to our prayers! Her actual “turning of the pins” we do twice a day is going fine. Once again, a very big answer to prayers!!
Now....one little prayer request....she has a very nasty looking sore in her mouth, like she bit her lip when it was so swollen post op.....I can’t quite figure out what happened, but it looks so painful and more swollen tonight. I might take her to her local doc tomorrow and see what they think.
Thanks for asking!! I am sure her great post op is due to so many cyber aunties praying for her!! I am so, so grateful!!

What a miracle little Lily is--her attitude is just amazing to behold! We will pray for the sore in her mouth and continue to pray for her recovery each and every day.
