Thanks for all the prayers. I love the comment Elena! It's so positive sounding.
My DH has been saying "because we had one more seat in the van to fill". It's really silly, but it usually lightens the mood and lets people know we think their question is silly. I'm not so sure it would work with my doctor though.
The thing is, I was so worried about how this pregnancy would go and so far, besides feeling really tired, I have no complaints. I've only been queezy a little bit which doesn't bother me because it assures me that everything is still okay with the baby. The tiredness is natural I know, but I also think better vitamins will help.
So I am blessed, and my DH and I are settled into the idea of another little one and looking forward to our special gift that should arrive around Christmas.

Well, my appointment yesterday was rather uneventful. I was expecting a battle and got nothing! 
Actually, my doctor did say she saw my name on the chart and wasn't surprised. She seemed a bit aloof and my appointment was very short, but she said she wanted and early ultrasound to check for dates before anything else. So today I get to see pictures of the baby  .
I prayed a rosary (well, part of it anyway) as I drove to my appointment and just asked God and Mary to let it happen as it should, giving me any words I need to say. It turns out I didn't need to say much at all, but that might come later.
So thanks for your prayers and encouragement!

Thanks Angie! It was great to see the ultrasound. It looks like another boy!
Then I called my mom and all the negative comments that I was worried about never even happened. She just kept saying "what a blessing"! I was so relieved.
God has really blessed us!

Becky, congrats!! two moms I know locally each had babies recently at age 46- one after a dh's vasectomy reversal , and the other after 14!!! years of infertility, had babies quite naturally and unexpectedly at age 43 and now 46!!
Also, my OB's wife had their 9th child at age 46 as well.
