Who wants to help a sick pregnant woman Easter weekend.

Oh, Donna Marie. You have my prayers. I started suffering from severe insomnia with my pregnancies where I could NOT fall asleep all night despite exhaustion with Number 6. I then had three more hoping it would not be an issue, but they have all been very hard, and I did have to start taking medicine. Things then became bearable.
I am very very very sympathetic as this is a cross very dear to my heart. It is crucial to be able to sleep.

My cortisol test came back showing that my body is releasing a morning dose of cortisol at the end of the day when I should be sleeping...it is so weird to be exhausted and tired and have that adrenaline running so hard. I am so very tired.
They are recommending a few things for me and one makes me feel weird. I need to reset my body clock so that I can rest at night and not at 6am for the first time..and only a few hours at that!

Well that's quite a find!!! Explains alot for you in the evening, praying that there is some sort of safe treatment for this now it has been identified!!

I'm terribly optimistic, Donna Marie! Praying that in learning this there will be some solutions that WORK for you...and that more normalized sleep is in your future! I'm LONGING for something to work!!!!

THANK YOU Jen! ...And everyone for your friendship and support. This is a VERY hard thing to go through. It makes my heart lighter to know that I have your friendship and prayers. They mean so very very much to me. I am trying very hard not to lose sight of what I am doing despite how many hours are between here and August. My love and prayers go out to all of you!

Unfortunately it may take a months to get back in order as they have to treat me gently because I am pregnant. Keep praying!!
