Elizabeth,
Praying for pregnant moms or moms wanting to conceive has become a vocation of mine, lately.
I offered and am still offering up all my recent sufferings for this intention...
All moms are also in our family Rosary each night...
I hope you moms feel the prayers!!

OK, I guess I'm ready to announce now Elizabeth!
Yes, I'm one of the three. I'm expecting #6 in early October. We are all very thrilled. The girls had names picked out within about a half hour after learning of our new little one.
As Elizabeth knows, I was dealing with a lot of anxiety for the first few weeks after learning of this pregnancy--mostly due to hearing of multiple cases of SIDS/miscarriage in a very short time. I always worry about miscarriage since I've suffered two in the past, so the first trimester is always stress-filled for me. And with my last pregnancy I dealt with hyperthyroidism, which made the pregnancy difficult and which was later blamed for my 3yo dd's low birthweight. (4lb 9oz at full term!) I also worry about that happening again.
But after bringing my anxiety to prayer and repeating "Jesus, I trust in you" when the worries surfaced, I have been feeling much better more recently.
I went in at only 6 weeks for a Dr's visit so I could get my thyroid checked. I was very relieved to hear back today that it is still normal. And my HCG test showed normal levels, so that helped relieve my fears of miscarriage a bit too.
I'd appreciate prayers that my thyroid function remains normal throughout this pregnancy. Thanks so much!

Hi Everyone,
I thought I'd let you know that I had my first sonogram this afternoon. It was so wonderful to see that little heartbeat on the screen! The baby is just the right size for nine weeks. Thanks so much for all of your prayers! I feel much more peaceful now.
