My dd was fooling around at dinnertime and fell... broke a tooth and bit through her lip. She has stitches inside and out, and tomorrow we go to the dentist for the tooth

Please pray that she can have a quiet night, rest peacefully and heals up well....

Update: The tooth had to come out today, as it was pretty smashed on the back side and fractured down to the nerve. Luckily it was a baby tooth, and dd was so brave. But still.... I could really go for that padded room about now. Thank you all for your prayers. I know they helped.
And there will be no more "playing Olympics" at my house!

Yes, it was a baby tooth. Ds and dd were "swinging" in the kitchen- holding onto the window sill with one hand and the table with the other, then trying to swing between the two. Argh. I had *just* chased them both out and was trying to make dinner when I heard the screaming. Apparently dd had come back in and tried to sneak in one more swing.

She fell face first onto the air vent and broke one of the metal slats .
Sad to say she saw the same ER doctor today that she saw ten days ago when I had to take her in for a respiratory infection that really stirred up her asthma. Tonight she came in all bloody and scraped up, and he kept saying he was so pleased she was looking so much better than last time he saw her when she was so sick.

I guess that would be the silver lining....

Poor dear! I'll be praying for both of you! I think I'd be an emotional basket-case after such an ordeal. Not but two weeks ago I nearly passed out (twice!) whilst trying to relieve some puss from my dd's ingrown toenail. I nearly bit the floor and had to stop to breath . Can't. Handle. It.
