Sunday night I went into labor on my own. 5 minutes apart from the get go. We get to the hospital only to find the baby is back to a high transverse position!  However God is so good the dr on that night was willing to try and externally turn the baby....mind you this involves total prep for a c-section too. Well she did it rather easily actually the or team was so happy and surprised. Any way I still had another 10 plus hours of labor with my midwife before Brian Jonathan was born at 9 lbs 3 oz and 22 inches long...how in the world could that baby flip so much  We are home and doing well we beat the snow home and dh just left for more milk and some library books videos so we will be fine with getting snowed in  Also I have learned not to compare or speculate because who in the world would think #8 would be 14 hours of labor!!!! Wonderful news!
I had one that could manage to do all sorts of gymnastics.. she was really good at doing a full flip.. head down to head up (and vice versa).. several times a day.. and sometimes the only way I could tell was by feeling where the body parts were. Thank goodness she was cooperative and managed to be head down for labor.
