Matthew's blood sugar numbers were sky high today --normal insulin amounts (and then some!) just weren't bringing him down so he seems to still be fighting something. I will be watching him through the night to be sure he's OK. At bedtime he was just under 600!

YIkes....it amazes me how labile and high kids’ sugars can go...I worked adult diabetes a long time ago....600 would be freaking everyone out. I’m praying, Michele, I know how medical anxiety is for our special kiddos. Keep us updated!

Matthew was mid 200's through the night (that's good for nighttime) and the same this morning so at least he's coming down. His target is 150 (he's 5).

Thank you! Maggie's numbers were GREAT today, Matthew was still highish but better than yesterday. I think he is becoming more sensitive to fat so we have to be mindful of that. Did you know your body can convert fat and protein to glucose?
