Thank you for the kind replies. I was able to get the hose yesterday and felt some immediate relief, but there's still a lot of discomfort. Thigh highs won't work because they stop before any of my varicose veins begin. They're all in the very upper largely inner thigh (but still on the leg and not into the pelvic region thankfully.) "Up my backside" means right where the backside hits the thigh where you sit down and then crawling up the bottom (but again thankfully not hemorrhoids.)

I'm finding the compression on my belly does worsen the nausea but it's a trade off I'm willing to make right now for some relief. I've spent the past several days near tears. I'm just so surprised that I can go from having absolutely no varicose veins to such painful ones in just a matter of days. I guess I thought it would be a more gradual progression!

Also--has anyone ever tried chiropractic care for relief? I didn't know if it would help circulation at all.
