Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Yay!

We're loving the looks of the whole area. Bardstown looks ideal for our farm business, too. And having Gethsemani Abbey right there in town would be very, very special. Brian and I grew up in Spencer, MA - home to this Trappist Abbey . We still visit often, members of our family worked for their vestment making business .

Our Louis is a huge train fan. We would NEVER get him out of the train museum. Seriously.

Blessings,

Had to share about the kids... After the initial surprise wore off, they've really rallied. Carrie is reading everything she can get her hands on about Kentucky; and was singing to the baby "we're moving, we're moving".

The older kids have been just great helping with thinking through organizing and volunteering to help with tasks for moving. I'm feeling blessed. Their supportive attitudes will go a long way to making this move a better experience.

Blessings,

And just because we LOVE to multi-task here, we discovered yesterday that we're expecting our 8th baby in October. Really defines a timeline for you.

Brian and I are going to spend today looking at available land online, planning to contact more realtors, and looking at house plans/architects, and builders.

The arrival of this new baby really, really let us know that we are doing the right thing. We just can't fit all that we do into this tiny house...

Blessings,
