Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I will follow these prayer collections: 31 days of prayer

You can make it as simple as one Our Father a day or do a Rosary a day or whatever you choose...

I'll definitely be joining you. I'm thinking my husband could use some extra prayers.

31 Days of Praying for Your Husband

by Nancy Leigh DeMoss

“She does him good . . .” (Proverbs 31:12a)
Bless your husband by praying for him! The Apostle Paul instructed all Christians to pray for one another (Ephesians 6:18). This includes wives’ responsibility and privilege to pray for their husbands. Earnest prayer for your husband is good for him, for you and the spiritual health of your home (Proverbs 31:11-12).
Satan desires to destroy your husband, especially his character and his leadership in your relationship. Trust God through prayer as you daily surrender your husband and marriage to the Lord’s wise, loving care.
Day 1
Pray that your husband will grow spiritually and consider his accountability before the Lord. Pray that he will guard his heart by developing spiritual disciplines—Bible reading and study, prayer, meditation, scripture memorization, etc. (2 Peter 3:18; Prov. 4:23)

PRAYER

Through the intercession of Our Loving Mother, St. Joseph and Pope John Paul II we pray that God will draw our husbands closer to Himself in Love through Wisdom, prayer, scripture, and the Sacraments. We pray that they will come to a greator knowledge and love of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

God, Our Father, you desire that husband and wife be united as one. Unite our hearts more closely, that we may be of one mind and one heart in Your Love. Grant that our family life may grow, more and more, according to Your vision of what our family should be, so that we may glorify you on this earth and rejoice forever with you in heaven. Amen.

Our Father... Hail Mary... Glory be...

Day 2
Pray that your husband’s relationship with God and His Word will bear fruit in his life. Pray that he will be a man of wisdom and understanding, fearing the Lord. (Prov. 3:7, 9:10; Ps. 112:1)
Through the intercession of Our Loving Mother, St. Joseph and Pope John Paul II we pray that God will fill our husbands hearts and minds with His Holy Spirit... with Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Counsel, Piety, Fortitude, and Fear of the Lord. Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of our husbands, and enkindle in them the fire of your LOVE!

God, Our Father, you desire that husband and wife be united as one. Unite our hearts more closely, that we may be of one mind and one heart in Your Love. Grant that our family life may grow more and more according to Your vision of what our family should be, so that we may glorify you on this earth and rejoice forever with you in heaven. Amen.

Our Father... Hail Mary... Glory be...

Day 3
Pray that your husband will be humble and quick to agree with God about his sin. Pray that his heart will be tender toward the voice of the Lord. (Ps. 51:2-4; Micah 6:8)

Through the intercession of Our Loving Mother, St. Joseph and Pope John Paul II we pray that God will fill our husband's hearts with humility, true contrition for all sins, and a firm purpose of amendment. May the Lord soften their hearts and make them docile to the voice of God and inspirations of the Holy Spirit.

Glory be...

Day 4
Pray that your husband will grow in leadership skills in your relationship—protecting and providing for you. Pray that he will lead you wisely and love you sacrificially, so that God will be glorified in your marriage. (Eph. 5:25-29; Col. 3:19)

Through the intercession of Our Loving Mother, St. Joseph and Pope John Paul II we pray that God will fill our husbands hearts with Love... Love for God first of all, and then Love for the one that God has united him with on this earth in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony. May my husband become the protector, provider, and leader that God wants him to be. May he practice the sacrificial love that imitates Our Lord towards all in our family.

Glory be...

Day 5
Pray that your husband will be faithful to his wedding vows. Pray that he will have a desire to cultivate your relationship as a sign of his loyalty and commitment to you, and as a picture of Christ’s love for the Church. (Prov. 20:6; Gen. 2:24)

Through the intercession of Our Loving Mother, St. Joseph and Pope John Paul II I pray that God will fill my husband's heart with faithfulness and loyalty towards God and family. May he always cherish the vows he made before God on his wedding day and be always committed to strengthening them. May my husband love me as Christ loves the Church, and may I lovingly and cheerfully serve my spouse each day. May my presence in his life make his heart lighter and his day sweeter and by my faithful love may I lead him to closer to You.

Glory be...
