3:30 am Arizona time...Ian fell out of his bunk bed and is on his way to the Emergency Room with his dad. This all started at around 2:00. He is showing signs of improvement but is having some shallow breathing. We know he hit his back and we're thinking that there might be an injury to the lung.
Off he went with his current favorite read, Real Kid's Fishing Stories, some graham crackers, and his rosary. He told me he is offering up his hurt for the poor. I told him that I was going to say extra prayers for him and that I would let my prayer friends know so that you all could pray for him too. I told him that we have friends all over the world who will pray for him and that it wasn't the middle of the night everywhere. When I said, "Even friends in Australia will pray for you," his eyes lit up and he said, "Really? Cool!"
I'm off to pray and get some sleep. Thank you. Just being able to let you all know about this, brings peace.
Love,

Oh, Angie.
We'll offer our day for Ian. He's the same age as Aaron, and I am always worrying about him falling out of his bunk bed.
Hope he's doing OK.
Love,

Angie, Please give an update as soon as you can. I hope Ian is doing okay this morning.
I have a nephew Ian that fell of his bunkbed at the young age of 2 or 3, hurt his ear badly, but no permanent damage. It was quite scary!

You are all the best! Thank you so very much. We received the report we prayed for. Ian has nothing broken, and his lungs and breathing are fine.
Dh and Ian were in the emergency room for over five hours before being seen then it took time to work through the system. They are finally home and getting much needed rest.
When Ian gets up, I'll read him all the replies and show him where you all are located on the map. He's into maps right now so this is very cool to him.
Thanks again for your replies and for all those who are praying without posting. We feel lifted up!
Have a great day. Love,

Angie, just saw this--am so glad to hear the good outcome for Ian. ER visits are always long, drawn-out experiences, but I'm glad this one had a happy ending!
