Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

"Expectations"...probably my biggest obstacles. Like you, I have teens to soon a newborn, and not all are going to be enthralled with the field trip, or squeal with delight while crawling through the fields in search of what to journal...
I am sooo grateful for this gift of life, and the opportunity to give God one more soul to praise Him for eternity.
"Look to the goal"...I guess it's with babies, teens, marriage,homeschooling...disappointments lie in our human view of things...
So grateful for your humour and knowledge. Deo Gratias.

And now I'm wondering what #7 is going to do!

Does this mean you have news?

I posted to the "expecting" thread about a week ago. I'm just a few cycles away from a recent miscarriage. I'm nervous, but trying to be bravely cautiously hopeful. And yes, I am really beginning to wonder how the dynamic will change in our family. My oldest will be 17!

AHHH Books with tea,
My oldest is 17 and youngest is not yet 7...with several miscarragies inbetween. I know the joy of realizing a new pregnancy, yet the hesitancy of hopeful expectations. How blessed we are to even carry a soul to any point of life. Many, many prayers for you and the new little gift!
