Oh, I had forgotten all about the daughter who had died! How terrible! We are so blessed to live in this modern day. I had read that formula was invented by a doc to feed a baby that's mother had died. I think it was originally used for that. I can't imagine how horrible it would have been to think that your daughter was being cared for and then to have that happen. I too have "A Story of a Family" and cannot recommend it enough. You literally fall in love with the Martin family.

Thanks for reminding me of that Maddie. I also thought about how blessed we are to have oxygen for our babies when they are sick! When William was recently in the hospital with RSV, it might have taken a very different turn if he had not had the aid of oxygen to help him breath. He would have completely tuckered out. Quite scary to think about for more than a moment.

Kim, you are a beautiful and wonderful mom. I remember sobbing the first time I had to feed Maria a bottle of formula in public (this is not how I parent!).
I am praying for you as you mourn this loss, and rejoicing with you over your precious baby boy!!
