after a wonderful 14.5 week sono yesterday, I woke up to lots of bleeding late last night.
I'm off to the Dr right now.
Please pray! I'm scared.

I'm back home, on bedrest/low activity.
baby is ok, thank God! There is significant concern because the bleeding is starting in the 2nd trimester, and also because they are not able to pinpoint by sono exactly where it is coming from.
All of my other bleeding situations (I have 2 genetic bleeding disorders) usually continued into the 2nd trimester, but always started very early on.
The baby is a placenta previa as well, sitting on the cervix, but there is still time for that to resolve itself.

Lisa, I had a 14 week 50% abruption with my oldest....I know it is a different issue, but I hemorrhaged initially for a few days, and then bled like a heavy period for two months, and spent the whole pregnancy on my back. That baby is now a big strapping red head...born on Father’s Day 16 years ago  ...hang in there, Honey...we’re praying!!!!! Keep us updated, okay??
