Less than four hours ago, one of the choir directors from Church was broadsided 6 miles south of our house. She was flown via helicopter to a major Minneapolis hospital in critical condition. We just received word that she is on life support and is not expected to survive. Please, please pray for Marion, her husband Ron who walked away from the accident, their children and grandchildren, and all of us within their church family.
ETA 8:50 pm: Ron was just released from the hospital up here, and the family is racing to the Minneapolis hospital, where Marion is being kept on life support until they arrive.
UPDATE #1 Jan 2 7:30 am: Marion was taken off life support last night around 11:30 pm. We have had no news since then. We know she has numerous broken bones, ruptured spleen, etc. Please continue your prayers.
FINAL UPDATE Jan 2 12:15 pm: Marion died early this morning surrounded by her family. The childrens' choir concert, tomorrow at 2:00 pm, will go on as scheduled in her memory.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Praying...we've lived this nightmare, and I can only imagine how Ron and his family are feeling. They are in my prayers.

Oh Paula I hadn't been back to read an update for a few days. I suspected this was where it was headed though.
I will pray for the repose of Marion's soul, as well as for God's tender Mercy and Comforting Hand to be present to all those, especially her family, who must be absolutely devastated!
