Update on William Anthony from Kim.
First, I would like to thank EVERYONE for ALL of your prayers during this scary time with our William. All of your prayers were honestly felt while in the hospital when we didn't know what was going on with him.
William seems to have turned a corner with his health.
His weight has improved significantly and he is looking much, MUCH healthier.
We had been taking Willy to the pediatrition for weight checks since he was born. At one month his pediatrition was confused about his inability to gain weight and she admitted him to the hospital. His weight was very low for a one month old. They did numerous tests to try to determine why he was failing to thrive but all were negative. The only thing they found wrong so far is that he tested postive for Cystic Fibrosis, but since neither or us have this in our families, it's possible that it is a false positive and we have to go and have more tests done for that next week.
While in the hospital, he was switched to a diet of formula so that the ounces could be measured and I pumped and fed him this way as well so we could measure how much he was getting. He was literally stuffed! His improvment was so dramatic that despite initially planning to keep him there for a week, they released him after only 3 days. He is home now and continues to improve. They have several follow-up tests planned but we are hoping for the best. We and even the doctors were stunned at how quickly his health turned around. I know it was the prayers of everyone here. God must have something special planned for William to have such an outpouring of love. I was so touched by everyone's conern and sincerely thank you for your time and prayers. Please continue to pray as other tests come in and concerning the CF. (We hope that is nothing as his newborn screening test for that was negative but there are many forms of CF, so we still continue to pray about that.)

Kim,
I've been so relieved to hear of little William's steady improvement! WHEW!!! Thanks be to God!
My prayers continue for all of you and for that little fella! I'm praying especially this morning as I know you're headed back in for more testing.
