Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I probably mentioned this before, but I can't remember...
I take 1T of Carlsons Cod Liver Oil daily while pregnant. I had heard that that and flaxseed oil can help with the old scarring from my previous C.

I was reading the other day that CLO can create an amniotic sac that is as hard as nails....figures...
Peter James was pushed out (only 4 pushes!!!Shortest time EVER!) with his bag of waters COMPLETELY INTACT! The midwives were in a tizzy about it calling in people to look..lol...TMI?? Then told me the old wives tale is, that he might be psychic. I told them, "We don't 'do' psychic, but I'll take: 'Holy Priest'!!"

So, for many reasons...I do believe CLO is a great thing!

I'd heard Vit C can have a similar strengthening effect on the sac.

I take a multivitamin, extra c (1000mg), fish oil, B12 sublingual, and a whole foods supplement, if my multi doesn't cover it.

Good companies are Standard Process (doctors use it)
                    Garden of Life
                    Nature 's Way
                    and Ola Loa for drinkable
                        supplements.

I have always taken supplements, but my 80 year old father has faithfully taken them his whole life, and has never taken anything else other than BPressure medicine. He had a massive stroke/hemorrhage in the brain, and there was never a surgery, as the location of it was never found. However, it has been 13 years since it happened, and his health is perfect other than that. So, seeing him like that makes me really commit to supplements. Hey, I don't get my 5-7 servings everyday.

About a month ago, I was not feeling well for about 2 weeks. I am unable to take time off, and I was super fatigued and sore (I think the flu, or fighting it), and I just kept drinking bottles of water with that EmergenC mixed in, and I never got the full blown sickness, and no one else got it either. So, I believe I stopped that flu in its tracks with all the Vit C bombarding my cells!

OK, enough of my soapbox. I am a firm believer in vitamins, that's for sure.
