Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Don't forget frogger!

My brother gave the kids the wii for Christmas last year - this is our first of this type game ever, too.

The kids love it, grandparents are getting them mario cart for Christmas this year. We have fun with it, and the kids love Uncle Derrick even more now!

But, we do get the usual begging to play and had to lay down rules from day 4

Good luck!

Now, my brother wants us to connect on the internet with it, and play "together" over the miles...........
The kids are dying to try it.

I'm so glad to find this thread and look forward to seeing more reviews. After resisting for a few years, I finally gave in this year and we got the kids a Wii also. We've had an old Game Cube for years with just a few games for it, and some computer video games, and recently ds bought an Xbox 360 with his own money, and I've hated the time spent on these things, plus the violence (even with nothing more than T rated games for a 16 yo) so we convinced ds to sell his Xbox on ebay, with the deal that we would finally get a Wii for Christmas. So he knows, but the 8 and 10 yo have NO idea!

We got whatever comes with the console (Wii Sports?) and added Wii Fit for me especially (hoping for some motivation when it's too cold/wet to run outside) and Mario Cart. That's it so far. I saw a ballet game at Best Buy and wondered about getting it for dd8 who takes ballet - has anyone ever seen or used it?
