Thank you for holding me in prayer. I'm begging for more prayers, especially for my husband and children who have to deal with me at this awful, dark time. I'm being spiritually attacked and all I can do is call on Jesus and our Blessed Mother to help me through this. I prayed to St. Michael through the night. It's easy when you don't sleep. Last night was the worst for me and I know your prayers got me through it. This has not been a fruitful Advent at all. I just want to feel joy and happiness again. It has been a long time since I have gone through this.

I'm going to go pray the Holy Rosary for all your intentions right now. Please remember my precious children today. I want to make these last days of Advent fun for them. Maybe we'll bake some cookies and watch a movie.

You all mean the world to me.

Dear Ruth,
I am continuing prayers! My only suggestions, other than what all have wrote (and I sure bend St. Michael's ear!) is praying a litany of all your family's saints (for us, all but me, have a distinctive saint name, and I use, for Stacy Kay, Sts. Anastasia and Catherine.) Our saints have always come through for me. The other thing I have done, when in darkest hours, is read and pray the Psalms. I have gained enormous spiritual blessings during those times.

I was going to say that, too. As hard as it will be, try to "lay off" of yourself in terms of guilt for not being "prepared". You many be more prepared than you can even comprehend for the silent, hidden, "cave-like" graces of Christmas....

I will try to take my own advice as well these next few days as I feel increasing anxiety to get it all done, and find myself agitated and exhausted. We will fight this together!

God may be asking for sacrifices from all of your family members this Christmas, so don't *worry* (we feel such pressure to create their joy and Experience, don't we?) about what sufferings He may be allowing them to go through---He'll bring good out of it! (I know....easier said than done.)
