Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Joanna -- prayers and hugs and more prayers ... it's so tough when a parish is "hit" like this! Fr. Dull was a wonderful priest and I'm sure will be sorely missed. God bless you all ...

I am late to this request! I'm not getting much computer time. I just wanted to say that I met Fr. Jim around Easter when he came to my parish for a short while. We just moved into a new home and I invited him to come and do a house blessing. He was so full of energy, enthusiasm, love, and almost childlike joy! He went through and splashed our walls, closets, bathrooms, EVRYTHING with abundant Holy Water. He was joyful yet very reverent including our family in the blessing. He then stayed and talked with us for a while. He shared his life with us and asked us about ours. Then he told my husband and I things that changed our perspective on our family and helped release some stuggles we were having at the time with family decisions. I will never forget his smile, his kind voice, love of life and God. My children know that he is praying for us in heaven, now. It's a comforting thought for me, as I weep for the loss.
