It is in the Christmas story book that comes with the set. I did not notice it, but my dd has been studying the Koran in her Medieval Lit class, and she picked right up on it

That's weird. Our set is pretty old - no story book came with it at that time, so I haven't seen it. Seems like a definite anachronism. Somebody didn't do their homework if they believe there were mosques in 3 AD. Even "eastern" architecture that we might associate with mosque style was of a later origin. Looks like a case of "PC" gone amok.

our set is too old to have a book! it could be a tangible sign of how heavily influencial the Muslim majority is in Western Europe :(.

I just know I was jumping up and down with joy when the put out their "wedding" sets a year or so ago.
a man and a woman and a church looking wedding is something to be celebrated these days!!!!!
I can't wait to get them for maria for a birthday gift...
