Be easy on yourself!! This is always a lot to take in when there are unexpected endings, like a c-section. One day at a time....there is enough grace right now for what is right in front of you
Enjoy that babymoon!!!

Congratulations!!! and what 4ladsmom said..
you're not healed physically yet.. don't expect to be healed emotionally yet either.. give yourself time to heal before you go "borrowing trouble".

Congratulations!!!
As someone who underwent an emergency c-section with only local anesthetic and then has gone on to have three more pregnancies, I can honestly say, "You'll forget how terrible it is." And scheduled c-sections are just as easy to recover from as vag deliveries. And it isn't the end of the world, even if it feels (or hurts rather) like that now.
Prayers for you and yours,

Congratulations!
Beautiful name, by the way.
As an emergency-C survivor (double footling breech...at a training hospital, so I had eight docs, ugh), I can relate to the emotions you are experiencing. Please give yourself time to heal, recuperate and revel in your special time with William.
I'm so glad you posted this update today!

Kim,
I'm rejoicing to hear of the arrival of little William!
I'm praying as well for your peace of mind! May Our Lady in particular assist you in coming to terms with the complications surrounding his birth. May she assist you in putting to rest your fears and the anxiety this moment has caused and instead allow you to see only the beautiful mystery that is bringing a child into this world! With time, I know Our Merciful Lord will grant you every healing!
Thanks be to God for the gift of technology when it can assist life so beautifully and that today you are holding precious little William, even if he is all wrapped in pink! I'm sending very blue-boy snuggles from down south to him!
