Oh, Honey....take a deep breath.....and pray to Our Lady....I will, too!! One of mine did this a few times, when we had hit some very rough spots....and it cut me to the core. BUT....he is the same one now that is a different kid, would never do that ...and I am sure would be very embarrassed if I brought it up.

Thank you for your kind words and prayers. I found myself nodding that this isn't a job for the faint of heart. I can't believe how emotional (sad) I got over it!

One of my other children texted daddy the exact words written. (It wasn't a simple ..."I hate you") I spent more time reminding my dh about forgiveness. It was your words that kept me focused on talking this out rather than punishing.   

As was suggested, we had a talk on ways to deal with intense feelings of anger. This child is definitely my most intense.

Sorry so long.....just wanted you all to know how much your words helped here in our home.
