I can barely type without crying. A sweet girl, almost two is in the hospital after being severly beaten by her father. They don't know if she will survive, and if she does she will have brain damage. This was not just a "too severe spanking" this was abuse that the authorities believe lasted for several hours. I'll save you the details because I can't sleep for thinking about it. The child was sick and they think the dad couldn't handle the whining. This child is now in the foster care system so she is safe, but she desperately needs prayer for physical and emotional healing. I can't give you a name, because I don't even know it myself, but a friend of mine, who is the foster parent told me about the situation.

Oh reading this makes me cry! I will pray. Thank you God she is safe and away from him! It upsets me too Becky. I get so down and sad thinking about all of the child abuse we do not hear about..then I pray and make sacrifices, that helps
