My CD has arrived and I am listening to it right now. It's so beautiful!. I am no music scholar or technical master....but as far as beautiful Sacred music goes.....this is a winner!

We ordered one this evening after listening to the samples. The kids wanted to watch the video on Ignatius Press over and over and decided we should order directly from the sisters since it benefited them more to do so.

We are anxiously awaiting our CD. We love these nuns' CDs, we have 2 others, their music is absolutely lovely, to me it feels like listening to angels. They are a lovely community, who we have developed a bit of a friendship with over the last few years, their "garden nun" who we have corresponded with over seed donations we have been blessed to be able to make through our company was homeschooled, which is a neat connection for us.

I just got my copy of Advent in Ephesus. It is just absolutely lovely!
It is also available Amazon.
This is the best Advent cd I've had yet! (and I'm super picky!)

The cd insert is nice because it gives all the lyrics, including translations for the Latin hymns.

Just got our's in the mail yesterday! I agree with you ladies, it's wonderful. I have always wanted a CD like this for the Season of Advent, and I am pretty picky too, so I was so excited when the nuns announced this CD, as I already knew I have liked all their music. They have such lovely voices, and they blend well! I liked the insert, also.

A local mom posted this. I'm disappointed I didn't get both cds.  The cost for one was a bit hefty for me.
The Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles, have just made their CD, Christmas at Ephesus, available!!
This CD was recorded in 2008 originally.
The great thing is this: when you visit their website and click on Christmas at Ephesus, you will see that they are offering the Advent at Ephesus CD for FREE!!!
The cost is $20 plus $2 shipping for BOTH CDs!
Or you can buy two Advent cds and get the Christmas one free

Would you share your "action item"? 
The reason I ask is because I had such a great time going through my copy of Lauren Ford's The Ageless Story, and coordinating some of the antiphons with the upcoming season of Advent. Then, I went through itunes and found almost all of the Antiphons recorded there and made a little Ageless Story playlist, which I can play coordinated with a particular Feast/Solemnity. For example, on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, I thought it would be lovely to look at the beautiful image of St. Anne in the Garden in Ford's book, while listening to Hodie Egressa (Antiphon at the Magnificat, Dec 8, from the Immaculate Conception).
Anyway, I have several little chants coordinated with Ageless Story and Advent goings-on penciled in as "action items" on my Advent planner....and I wondered if you had done something similar with Advent at Ephesus since you mentioned saving the CD for an "action item" on Monday? Or is it just that you have penciled in Advent music listening time as an "action item"?

Oh Jen, for a moment there I thought you'd solved a problem for me. I had tried to order this from Amazon as an mp3 but it wouldn't let me as I'm from Australia it said. I had checked ITunes and came up with nothing, so when I saw your link I pressed away, but... not available on Australian iTunes. Who even knew there was an Australian iTunes

Jenn, thanks for posting about the free Advent cd with Christmas cd purchase! I was kicking myself for not ordering a copy of the Advent cd for our parish priest when I ordered our copy, now I have an excuse to buy the Christmas cd too!
