Thank you all for the prayers. I saw the doctor today and she and I are just not on the same wavelength.  I am hoping to get an appointment with a holistic doctor, but of course, that will cost us a lot more.

praying, Molly. we just lost our holistic doctor -- she decided to give up regular med entirely and just do acupuncture now  , so i'm praying with much empathy. my new doctor is okay, but not great.

Just a little update:
I have an appointment next Thursday with a holistic doctor. I am really hoping to get on a good path to health.
Dh has an interview tomorrow which we hope may lead to a better job closer to home.
My son, Charlie, has officially enlisted in the Marine Corps. He doesn't leave for bootcamp until April, though. He has some other major issues here he has to get in order. I am just so worried about him.
Thanks for the prayers. I hold all your intentions in my heart and pray for them daily.

Praying for you, Molly, and for Charlie and your dh as well.
Try not to worry right now about Charlie's enlistment - one of the things you learn quickly about military life is that worrying about things that aren't definite (like future duty stations and deployments) uses up emotional energy. A lot can happen between now and April. (Like...you feeling healthier!)
I know you are worried - my SIL shared her feelings about my nephew's enlistment with me and I think any mom would worry - but you'll give Charlie the best possible support by spending some of your energy on yourself and feeling healthier and stronger.
