Love the ideas, Jen! It was that term "turtle doves" that really struck my 3 yo at Mass, and he kept repeating it, and was looking for an illustration of the turtle doves.

But I'm aghast if you think white chocolate is really chocolate.

I don't....but I do like white "chocolate".

I was thinking too that it could be fun if you had a candy mold of a dove you could pour in some melted Ghirardelli white chips to make white turtledoves. Just 2 with your teatime...for the two turtledoves presented in the temple. That sounds fun! I may try that next year.

Okay, my computer is going wonky on me, but this bottom link works. Don't know why the first try didn't, and I can't get the preview post window to open on my computer, either. Oh, to be a tech-savvy mom.
