Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Would you think less of me if I told you I bought all my kids carmel apples this weekend, even the two babies and myself, knowing that the two babies wouldn't eat theirs so I could eat all three.

Also, that I cannot form a sentence or even function before 9:00 am. We are such late risers compared to everyone else! I want to change that so much but I am so so tired!

I have lots of these, but I better stop and save myself some dignity. Thanks these are funny.

Would you think less of me if you knew that I love Big Macs and at different times the crew at our local McDonald's would wave in recognition as we sailed through the drive-thru?

What a great thread!!!

My dh has lost count of the number of times I've sent him out for a Big Mac when pregnant or newly postpartum. (not that I don't WANT them at other times, but I don't "send him out" to get me food then )

Count us in on the 1x a week bathers too.    They just don't get that dirty.

It's like an underground movement of once a week bathers! My DH was last night about this thread, happy I had found comrades in dirtiness!

I'll play.

Of course, I don't think less of you. Would you think less of me if you knew that I love to watch Friends reruns and I love pop tarts?

Oooo, I thought of another one...

would you think less of me if you knew that I play on my kids' Webkinz and Pixie Hollow accounts...I tell them it's to help them earn money/points, etc, but really it's because I think it's fun?

(and I know I'm not the only one who does this, lol)

Of course I don't think less of any of you!

We're a "bathe when dirty" and "pregnant lady must have McD's burgers" house too! Which is funny bc I'm probably the only american who otherwise doesn't liek burgers at all!

Would you think less of me if you knew I've given up keeping the new kitten and my 5 yr old out of my coffee and just drink it anyways? If there's anything left. Since about 4 months ago, seems like every time I turn my head one of them has their head in my cup!

Sarah, I always knew we were separated at birth! My kids said the carmel apple story sounded like me, but usually with ice cream or candy.

9:00am is the crack of dawn around here!

What is it with Big Macs and pregnancy cravings? I get those too, and I never buy Big Macs otherwise?

my kids skin would get so dry if i bathed them everyday!

when i used to fret to my mom about it, she would say to me, "It's not like they work in a coal mine!"

Just had to say, no, I don't think less of you! Would you think less of me if you knew that I played on my kids' accounts so much that they insisted on getting me my own webkinz for Mother's Day? She is a springer spaniel named Lucy! Smoothie Moves Rules!

oh we like webkinz too... if you're actually trying to build them up some money.. the quizzes seem the way to do it.

No, I don't think less of you. Would you think less of me if you knew I am often in my jammies late into the morning, even if I get up on time?

of course I think I can get more done in my jammies than some people do all day but it's sure nice being comfy cozy in my jammies especially on cold mornings

This is so fun!

Would you think less of me if you knew that ds and I slept until 10:30 this morning, and didn't get out of bed until 11? (He likes to lay in bed and "chit-chat" in the mornings.) And I am still in my pajamas!

I also bathe my son infrequently (although now that he is getting older, my nose is starting to tell me when he needs it) and all I ate for breakfast AND lunch yesterday was a bowl of ice cream (after ds went outside to play, of course) AND I am supposed to be on a low-carb diet! Oh, and you would not believe the things I am cleaning this week for the first time in months, because my mother is coming this weekend!

Of course I wouldn't think less of you!

Would you think less of me if you knew that I consider popcorn, apple slices, and cheese a valid meal and have been known to serve it frequently when pregnant?

Also a member of the late-rising, infrequent-child-bathing, pajama-wearing, webkinz-playing, food-sneaking clubs.

And we do not have TV, but I watch The Office on-line!

And I didn't crave Big Macs, but did once insist on driving an hour and a half to Famous Dave's when expecting our first because nothing but a brisket sandwich would do!

What a great thread!

Of course I wouldn't think less of you!

Would you think less of me if you knew that I have a "Mommy's carton" of ice cream in the freezer at nearly all times AND that I just grab a spoon and dig in when I want some then put it back?

Pregnancy craving for me with my first was french fries. I couldn't go in the lunchroom at work because as soon as I smelled them I *had* to have them.

We are also a part of the infrequent bathers club.

So much fun!

Of course I wouldn't think less of you!

Would you think less of me if you knew that
...I consider leftover pizza a balanced breakfast?
...when my children ask me to play "Go Fish", I respond with "Not now! I'm playing SOLITAIRE!"
...my garage is overflowing with recyclable cardboard because I'm 1)too lazy to put it in my car and take it to the recycling center and 2)I WILL keep on ordering books online! aargh!
...I only bathe my children once a week, too! It's better for their skin

oh, and I have also used the bathroom as my secret clubhouse for snacking and reading for at least two whole minutes without interruption!

Love this thread! Thanks for starting it, Amy!

Think less of you? NO!

I think more of you that it ever makes it back!

It sure wouldn't in my house!
