Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. They are very much appreciated!

It's been a very difficult week. I haven't been sure what to expect and have had very few people to talk to about this as I didn't want to upset my mom. She doesn't know and her health isn't the greatest. I didn't want her to worry. I will probably let her know in a few weeks.

I'm pretty sure that I miscarried today. I was able to find something of substance to bury. I baptized him/her and plan to bury him/her in our new yard. It just doesn't seem right not to bury this little one so I am grateful for the opportunity.

Thank you for being here to pray for and appreciate my lost baby. Being my fifth, I felt inhibited in sharing my grief with many I know in real life as I didn't want to face any disrespectful comments. Although we weren't trying to conceive, we were happy to expect a new addition to our family and are very sad that we won't have another baby to bring home now. Thank you for listening and praying. I am very grateful.

Eternal rest grant unto him/her, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him/her. May the soul of my lost baby rest in peace.

Susan, remembering you in prayer as you grieve the loss of your baby, may Our Lady's mantle cover you especially at this moment.

Oh Susan So sorry to hear your news.

It is hard to not feel able to share such a loss. I did get one terrible comment from a family member, after I lost my little one. The rest were really nice, which I had not expected.   I will be praying for you and your family at this time!

Susan, I'm so very sorry for the loss of your sweet little one! Praying for you as you grieve this in the silence of your own heart. I know Our Lady, who pondered her sorrows in her own heart, will assist you and hold you!

God bless you, Susan!

I love Angie's words, so I'll repeat them...I support you to be gentle with yourself as you grieve.
