we've had a rough 24 hours. Our ds Paul, has fainted on three occassions and is very ill- swollen glands, sore raw throat, headache, VERY tired.
no high fever, and it is not strep.
we spent another 3 hours in the Prompt care today- then dh met me in the parking lot and we traded cars and kids, and dh took over hosp. duty.
on my way home, with all of the other kids, the transmission blew out.
fortunately I coasted over to the side and coasted down the side street to our home, it was a miracle, as it won't budge now.
Please pray that my son gets well soon, and that the repair costs are not too great.
When they ran ekg/eeg on him, those were fine, waiting for blood results.

thank you so much for the prayers. I recognize that this is so very insignificant compared to the sufferings of so many here at 4Real.
The suburban was towed,( with difficulty getting it out of the driveway) and we'll just figure out what to do when we have more info.
Ds's blood work is so far indicating "normal" with the exception of moderate to severe dehydration.
Even though no vomiting, he obviously was more sick than he let on and was not consuming much liquid. Poor guy! He deserves some special popsicles after all this!!
I am so sorry this happened to him, but grateful that he is insured! (I asked for prayers awhile back, as of Aug 1 I am without health coverage)
