As I've posted before, my dh is retiring from the Air Force and we're moving from Spokane, WA to just outside Columbus, OH. We leave this Friday.
This past week has been a series of goodbyes with 2 more difficult ones to go. Last night we said goodbye to some very, very dear friends. We traveled to China with them to bring home our second daughter (they brought home a son) and our older daughters came home just months apart and are the same age. These two little girls are absolutely best friends. Watching them say goodbye to each other last night was just too hard for words. We all just cried and cried.  For them and ourselves. This family IS family to us. I have another goodbye tomorrow that will be just as hard.
We know we're making the right choice to move closer to family but this is the hardest move we've made in dh's 25 years in the military.
If you think of us this week, please lift us in prayer. Thanks.

Your whole family is in our prayers. We are going through series of good byes here too. My sister moved away, she is only 20 and very close to my girls and at the end of the month our dearest friends are moving away too. Our oldest two girls are their oldest two girls bestest friends and they are dreading the good bye.
Lots of prayers to get us through these hard times.
