Paula, what a grief to your heart and spirit. We can't know why God allowed this, but allow it He did. He'll take care of your dear boy.

One thing a friend of mine whose children go to school does is have a morning offering and blessing from Mom at the door before the children leave for school. Maybe you could write a special blessing for your son and make this a precious "connecting" time each morning.
