Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

This looks neat: Nativity Stained glass mural

Its a $5 download and is 30 pages, which would make it quite large, 36"x 60" when complete. I'm not sure if my kids would spend the time to each color 15, or where I would put it. But it would be a very nice project for a co-op or Catechism class at a parish to do to hang up at the church. Or a large family with many children 6 and up to contribute work... My son is currently very intrigued by stained glass (our church has only one, unfortunately), so I'm trying to think of how we could do it. It would be a lovely Christmas decoration. Hope this fits the thread, as the preparation would be during Advent.

Oh wow! this is way beautiful! Years ago my mother bought a poster that was a stained glass image similar to this one to put on our door. Even with Contact paper it wore out, and I've just been looking for something similar. Would this be wonderful?

Wow, this thread is a bit lacking on complete information from our archives. I'll have to find some time to pull some threads here.

In the meantime, Jessica at A Shower of Roses posted a tremendous tutorial on the Jesse Tree.

I tried to compile all my Advent resources in this post.

Another bump so we can update this thread while we celebrate Advent in our homes.

Is it okay to reply a year later?    Yes, I still think its nice. I thought about it for a group but it could also be something to do at home - 1 -2 pages a day would complete it. Did you ever buy, Jenn?

One more about the mural. I went to her site, and now there is a three part mini-mural set. The Nativity in this one is only 9 pages. the other two designs are more modern, not my favorite, but could be useful as well. This would make it a less daunting coloring task for doing at home: Mini Christmas Murals

Nope, I didn't get it because my oldest doesn't enjoy coloring and it's just too much for him. I was just about to post on the mini murals...almost verbatim that you said!

My younger son loves to color, so I am still thinking of getting this soon so he can have it as a project. He inspires the older one.

I also wanted to mention Illuminated Ink's Catholic Posters.

They are really beautiful!
