Wanted to thank you all for the prayers. We'll find out how the contract stands at dh's workplace by month's end.

Kayleigh is having a great time in Europe...just very tired and a little homesick. But that's a good calling, right?

She's been to the top of the Eiffel Tower and had crepes for lunch at a French cafe below it. She saw Notre Dame and road a boat down the River Seine. She saw Big Ben, Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, and strolled across London Bridge.

She said that touring overseas makes her appreciate America all the more.

Italy will have to be put off for another trip. The train fare from Paris to Rome cost more than the round-trip plane ticket.

The two younger sisters have missed her but are doing very well. They've taken over her bedroom.

I hate this! I also hate to sound melodramatic but...

Mark texted me this AM that there is a tropical depression in the Atlantic.

In my mind's worse scenerio I'm seeing us homeless and jobless all in the same week.

Please offer a quick prayer for my husband's stress at work (we won't know contract negotiation outcomes until the 28th) and for Mother Nature's unpredictable nature.

Contract will be read tonight, voting polls open all day tomorrow.

Once again, the contract is not a pretty one...I heard this from a guy I went to elementary school with and he serves on the union negotiating committee.
