Thank you all for the prayers. The funeral is Monday so please remember the family at Mass this weekend.
Judy and her girls are lucky in one aspect. Well, two really...they have their faith. But Judy is also the oldest in a large family. I think of her and the girls and I know they are surrounded by a ton of sisters/aunts who are caring for them, ministering to them, embracing them. They are a close-knit family.
The family has gone through tragedy before. Judy's only brother was killed in a car accident years ago. This family suffers so and has been tested time and time again and they are one of the most wonderful Catholic family I know.

Surrounding them in prayer, Cay! I know sometimes grief hits so hard after all the family has gone home and everyone has gone back to the daily routine; it feels like you're the only one left holding the Cross. It feels so heavy then! My heart aches for this dear family! Prayers are coming!
