I'd like to ask you all to help pray me through a new pregnancy. My family and I are beyond thrilled to have another blessing coming, but I happened to find out about this one VERY early, and it seems like this will be one. long. pregnancy.  I also had several early miscarriages before my last 3 children were born, so I'll of course feel much better to get past the first trimester.

ETA: almost immediately after I posted this I started bleeding  bright red. I called my ob, got the doc on call, who basically said call in the morning adn they'll see me in the office for an ultrasound. It doesn't look promising...but God is a God of miracles. I'm tearfully begging for prayers that God will let us keep this baby. Please storm heaven!
2nd update: I'm leaving to have an ultrasound at 2:15. the bleeding has lessened, giving me hope! I will update after I'm home...Thank you so much for the prayers--they have strenghtened me.
3rd update: There was no heartbeat.
DH and I are brokenhearted, but what's almost worse is having to share this sad news with the other children. We shared the joyous news with them almost immediately so they could pray for their little brother or sister. I hope God gives me some words of comfort and wisdom to share with them.
