Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Marilyn have you looked at Coldwater Creek Outlet? They carry petites and have lovely skirts.

Thanks for the tip, my local store had tons! I am 5'4" and they come right to my ankle, so if you are shorter they would probably be too long.

I am SO excited that you posted this! Thank you! Even though I'm not tall (5'3") I just love extra long skirts. I stopped by the store today and they had a good selection, though the one I wanted most was black and they didn't have any of those. I ended up with purple and green. I hope they fit - I had to take a guess since I'm not in a position to try on right now! Hopefully in about 6 weeks I'll be wearing them though! What a great price.

I just wanted to post to this thread because I found a great skirt for the summer for us tall ladies. I am 5'9" and wear a size 20 and this skirt is super cute.Target Maxi skirt

I bought it in purple a few weeks back and I am getting it in gray and black. The link is to the pink one which is 8.48 but they do have gray and black in stock and maybe your neighborhood Target would have some more in the clearance section.

Good Luck!

Wow Jodie - thank you so much for this - they have some wonderful skirts in petite XS - I am sitting here drooling at them. DD12 is at her voluntary work job this morning - I can't wait until she is back to help me choose - 4 boys and precious baby girl are really not help in choosing clothes

Finally got to NY&Co this weekend and the skirts are now $7.48!

They seem to run big. I'm 35 weeks pregnant and bought a medium (it sits sort of below the belly--so it's good for maternity and postpartum!)

There's a bunch in stock again! And 30% off store-wide right now! Current price $12.

(and in a gratuitous angle of selfishness, use my link to sign up for ebates and get 4% cash back on THIS purchase... and many more! Get cash back on online purchases! To be fair, you can designate your cashback to go to charity if you'd like.)
